How Do I Use Network Marketing Software In My Online Business?

Richard asks…
Re-Patching the Network?
Good day to you all,
I am here today to pick on your brains because I am out of ideas and having a few hundred more people look into this other than me is always a good thing. I only want answers from users that have a network background.
Basically our patch panels are a mess and we need to re-patch everything? It’ll cost us 10,000 pounds for a company to re-patch two cabinets, color coded…etc Due to the contingency we as a company cannot afford it! Can anyone request.
Information we don’t have includes; where all the voice and network ports located around the building are located on the patch panel. Our database is out of date and therefore we need to start from scratch.
1. What is the best way to find out which port number relates to which patch in the cabinet. Is there a cheap product or device on the market that allows us to do this. We have the basic Cat 5 cables and no fibre optic.
2. Do you know of any good Network Diagram software that allows us to create a visual database of where are ports are located on the patch panel eventually when we find out.
Basically anything that can help us define our network diagram over a large network as original documentation was lost in translation. Cheers
AR

Use a LAN toner for this.

It’s going to be pretty labor intensive, and in a large network it will take a while. It’s the only way I know of to locate every port though.

It’s going to help tremendously to have properly labeled patch panels. As for diagramming the network, I’ve never found anything that could do this for free. I’ve used Visio Pro in the past, it did the job well enough. If you need something that’s more specific, check out this article.

We design and deliver the systems, software

networks. Backed by Bell Labs
research and development, we use our
strengths in mobility, optical, access, data and
voice networking technologies, as well as
services, to create new revenue-generating
opportunities for our customers, while
enabling them to quickly deploy and better
manage their networks. Our customer base
includes communications service providers,
governments and enterprises worldwide.
We have three segments organized
around the products and services we sell.
The reportable segments are Integrated Network
Solutions (“INS”), Mobility Solutions
(“Mobility”) and Lucent Worldwide Services
(“Services”). INS provides a broad range
of software and wireline equipment related
to voice networking (primarily consisting
of switching products, which we sometimes
refer to as convergence solutions, and voice
messaging products), data and network
management (primarily consisting of access
and related data networking equipment
and operating support software) and optical
networking. Mobility provides software and
wireless equipment to support radio access
and core networks. Services provides deployment,
maintenance, professional and managed
services in support of both our product
offerings as well as multi-vendor networks.
Beginning in fiscal 2001, the global
telecommunications market deteriorated,
resulting from a decrease in the competitive
local exchange carrier market and a significant
reduction in capital spending by established
service providers.This trend intensified
during fiscal 2002 and continued into fiscal
2003. Reasons for the market deterioration
included general economic slowdown, network
overcapacity, customer bankruptcies,
network build-out delays and limited availability
of capital.
We believe that the market for telecommunications
equipment has stabilized
and is starting to grow in certain areas. The
growing demands of enterprises and consumers
for additional services tailored to
their needs is creating the need for a new
convergence of networks, technologies and
applications.

how can i buy bulk candy directly from the Mars company?
i want to but alot of candy in bulk but i dont want to buy from sams club because i need alot of it but if there is any way i can buy right from the distributer or manufacturer

Victor answers:
You have to be a distributer yourself to get candy directly from mars/the others…. They have a special ordering code for each customer, and you have to be a business in order to get it.
You could try faking it, but the money you’d save buying direct would be much less than going through the process of getting a corporation set up and all of that.
Or, you could try setting up a deal with a locally owned store to get your candy from them at a reduced, almost wholesale price….

What is the best computer for creative advertising (graphic design, audio, video) and essential software?
I’m in the market for a new computer, which I plan to use in creative advertising. I was wondering what others in the field are currently using in terms of hardware and software — essentially, I’m interested in what is considered “top of the line” in 2007 for advertising professionals.
I have pretty much every piece of Adobe software from the late 90′s, and am positive I want to purchase their newer versions.
In respect to layout software like QuarkXpress, is this still being used for advertisements or has InDesign taken over?
All in all, I’m looking to spend around $1500 to $2000 total for hardware and software (I also get a student discount for Apple’s online store.) I realize this won’t allow the purchase of a Mac Pro desktop and Adobe Creative Suite 3, but I figure there have to be other scaled-down Macs that can get the job done. Would a suped up MacBook be ideal, if so.. which one?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Mac are the best
I’m running my small graphic design business

creating software for the solar energy industry – business plan?
so…recently I finished working on a project that was related to the oil & gas accounting software….and it was pretty easy, basically an ordinary accounting software with a few tweaks for the oil industry.
Now…I know that solar energy these days is booming and kind of got me wndering if I can develop and offer software as a sole business of mine? I have some steady experience developing software, so the level of complexity is the very least of my concerns. On the other I will acknowledge that I suck when it comes to marketing and running a business (i guess) so I need at least a good idea to server as my motivation. What software for the solar industry do you think will be good? like:
- accounting;
- predicting silicon prices based on neural networks.
- running hardware
- mathematical calculations (solar/quantum efficiency, poison processes, cdfs, etc. etc.).
I know there are some marketing obstacles…but do people need it at all? any guys working in the solar industry here?? 10x!

Victor answers:
You know your strength is in the technical side of it and you know about your weakness as well. You need a marketing guy to be in partnership with you. Software in account is a piece of cake, there are tons of account softwares available in the market. If you want to target a specific market, you have to have a marketing guy, who is familiar with the solar energy industry to provide you with the input.

David asks…
Exercise and nutrition questions?
I am 19, highly active, and conscious about what I eat.
Does anyone have any ideas about what I should eat after I do a 2 hour work out of cardio and light weight/high repetition lifting?
I am currently drinking Isopure but I feel that is making me bulk. I need to slim and tone. Not bulk.

Victor answers:
Protein and water. I didn’t like the drinks either.

Robert asks…
Why do people bulk, why not just stay cut?
After all, to grow u need good nutrition (protein) not calories. You can grow while ur cut right ? and muscle while u r cut ? (low body fat).

Victor answers:
You need calories
idk where you got that from
its better to have more instead of less

A. Flexibility, endurance , substantial weight loss , proper nutrition and muscle power B. Disease prevention , fad diets , coordination , muscular bulk and relaxation C. Victor answers:
Sounds like a test question. C appears to be the most accurate answer.

William asks…
What amount of sets and reps do you need to do to get ripped?
Im aware that getting ripped requires nutrition and cardio.. aware of that.
i can’t however seem to find the amount of sets you should do..
in other words what do you go for. do you go for bulk and just incorporate cardio or do you go more for lean muscle…
high reps low weight or low reps high weight

Victor answers:
Go for low cardio and heavy weights and lower reps like between 6-10 it takes very hard training to get ripped but the more bulk you get, you may start to appear to lose the ripped appearance. Thats what cutting up does but only when your ready to.

I am a Project Manager having masters degree is Software Project Management and my BS in computer engineering, I want to migrate to some other country. The options for skilled migration pertaining to my criteria are New Zealand and Hong Kong, I speak English, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi.
Kindly advice keeping in mind the skill area and languages and job market the best choice for decision making.
Thanks in advance.

Victor answers:
There are two options:
- Apply for an international company in your country and try to get transferred to another country.
- Apply directly to large companies abroad, and try to have them get you a work visa (harder option)
If you are willing to go back to school, you could apply for anther post-graduate program and go as an international student. If you qualifications are good enough you may be able to find a job there and get hired by the time you finish your degree.

I want the software to be able to hold client database, do full stock inventory, have point of sales with full financial reports etc. and preferably multi user so there is a server (reception) and each practitioner can use the software via each room to enter patient data during consult-i want to be paperless.
view calendar for appointments, and make appointments easily. have multiple practitioners with different modalities.
would like but not essential to sync with google calendar or be able to update on practitioner’s iphone etc for calendar.
be able to sms clients for appointment reminders
email patients with marketing campaigns or newsletters etc
if possible use device such as ipad to fill in patient intake forms for patient to auto complete their details.
if you have had expereince using the software would be great. I’d prefer application rather than online solution as I find it annoying every click having to wait for the page to load.
any suggestions are welcomed.
so far i’m looking at clinic director, but it seems a little buggy and is only on pc, as with clinicPOS.
price is an issue and needs to be as low as possible.
Many thanks in advance.

Victor answers:
You would need to either:
Ask a company to make the software for you, this will be fairly expensive
Or
You could make the software yourself
Or
You could ask a programmer to do it, but finding one may be difficult……..

Steven asks…
is that a good idea for an investment management software?
I was thinking to create an investment management software that can do various things like:
* backtesting technical and fundamental indicators over historical data:
* easily finding fundamental info for a stock (p/s, p/b, p/e…etc).
* calculating difficult quantitative measures (VaR, SABR volatility, black-derman-toy price…etc.)
* Create index of your portfolio and monitoring its price/beta and so on.
* calculate sortino ratio and other performance measures.
Basically, when I google it – I can’t find about say 70% of the things that I am planning to program – so it should be logical that since something is needed and cannot be found for free – the next available option is to pay for it.
There are other problems that concern me though:
how to reach my customers? that is…what price of the software to set given that I will need to put a sufficient investment for facebook, google adwords?
If i use email marketing (well…spamming) will I ever reach someone who is interested in say sabr volaility or things like that?
should i sell it as exe or as SaS (subscription to online website…)?
any advice? thanks!
I will bet that you are useless troll anyway…

Victor answers:
All most every major brokerage firm in the United States has most if not all of what you are looking to do. Many of the firms provide investment advise to their clients using either their own in-house platforms or those of many of the most prominent vendors. All such research is usually available to th clients are no cost to them.
Before you “reach” you customers with investment advice, make sure you are registered with the SEC and are aware of the rules and regulations governing your business.
Before you look at pricing of your product, you should consider the cost of developing the system that want and the cost of maintaining it, not only the initial cost but also the daily and weekly charges you will need to keep such data current.
I think you’re looking at you end product that does not yet exist and are addressing sales and/or marketing. You should be addressing research, Developments and maintenance of the package and once you have it that together, then look to sell it.
And no I’m not an useless troll, I have spent many years in the securities in the development of successful software package of various types. So I do speak with experience.

How Do I Use Bulk Vegetable Oil In My Online Business?

Jenny asks…
Workout tips for 16 y/o?
16, female, 5 foot 7 inches, 181lbs. (Fat, I know, I know. At least I’m trying.)
I finally saved enough money with my job to afford a treadmill. I used to run at the park but I didn’t do it often because I hated going outside and running. Now I have a treadmill inside so I’ll be working out more often…any tips?
So far I’m going about 15 mins at 2.5mph each time, and I do that around 10 times a day. According to my treadmill that means I burn around ~600 cals a day. I really want to have my goal around ~1500 cals a day, so I started lifting 5lb weights while I walk, but I don’t know how much that is helping. I also brought up the incline on the tredmill a little.
My diet is mostly vegetables, with the bulk of it being white rice (Around 50%) and the rest are steamed vegetables and for one meal a day I eat some meat, usually a little bit of fish. I wrap my rice in seaweed because I like the taste of it…I’m avoiding cooking oils and fats completely so everything is steamed or baked, or toasted.
I’m eating lots of fruits, though. Maybe an apple and some figs, or a few mangoes/avocado on my rice.
I’m only drinking water and maybe once a day a half cup of cranberry juice or the green super food drink that I have in the morning.
I don’t go to school so I don’t eat the greasy fat foods they serve at schools.
Any tips on my regime? I’ve been doing this for about a week now, no significant weight loss so I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong or maybe not enough working out.
Any recipes that are mainly rice and vegetables will ago be greatly loved! They don’t have to be delicious, just edible.
Wow, I didn’t know that about rice!
I’ll cut out most of the rice and replace it with just lots of water.
2lb a week should be normal for this workout plan? I lost 1.5lb this week so I guess that’s good.
The workout don’t really tire me out since I only go for around 15 minutes each, and I usually do something like listen to music or watch TV while I’m walking….
Thanks Dave H,
I’m taking protien supplements once a day, but at the same time I’m trying to avoid all the chemicals I hear are in store-bought meat. My dad is a fisherman so I do eat wild fish at least once a day…other than that I don’t really like how red meat tastes so I don’t eat it much.
I do try to keep my protein intake up with the supplements, since I know I need it. I also take coral calcium tablets which I believe has soy protein in it as well.

Victor answers:
The first thing I noticed is “I’m avoiding cooking oils and fats”, you got the wrong idea here. Your body needs fats and there’s a big differenc between processed fats and healthy fats. Health fats are things like nuts and eggs, and you need to be adding this into your diet. I know it’s dense in calories, which is why to stick to your calorie limit (I hope it isn’t below 1200? Alot of people do that, bad idea) you’ll need to cut out some of your white rice to allow it. White rice is high GI by the way, it’s better for your weightloss to get your carbs from brown rice or wholegrains. It suprises alot of people, but the healthiest way to diet is to really strictly limit your carbohydrate intake (keep it around 50-100g a day) and fill up the rest of your calorie limit with protein and healthy fats. Try and eat a fruit/vegetable with every meal too.
With the amount of activity you’re doing, on a 1200-1500 calorie balanced diet, I’m sure you’ll lose plenty of weight, I’d predict 2lb of body fat per week, which is a nice healthy amount. Be patient, don’t go into a crazy 500 calorie diet like alot of people do, and you’ll reach your goal, good luck.

Maria asks…
I am really nervous at work and cant get my act together?
i just started working at Richards whole foods, its like organic food store where they sell vitamins, oils, minerals etc. Well its my first job and feel really nervous when ever I manage the cash register since I sometimes screw up and ring up something wrongly, then I look like an idiot in front on the customer and one of the employees has to help me fix the problem ( this has happened NUMEROUS times), I also speak in a very soft and sort of pathetic voice. Whats incredibly hard for me is we have bulk items, meaning people go to the dispensers in the back and pick out seeds, wheats, chocolates, dried fruits, vegetable chips, and there are literally close to 100 different types of bulk foods, and I am suppose to memorize what each and EVERY one of them looks like, and ring it up like magic. Today was my second day, but I feel sooooo stupid for having to ask almost everytime for help on the bulk foods whether its salted, unsalted, roasted, whole, organic, pitted, crushed, ground, basically alot. Every employee there is also older than me by at 5-10 years, making me the ‘child’ and I can sometimes hear them talk behind my back when im stocking stuff saying how slow and nervous I am….I dont have anyone there I really connect with, I am literally all alone. I dont want to quit since I need the money, but I am possibly being offered a job at Smoothie King, where my friend josh works.
What should I do? I apologize If this sounds incredibly whinny, Im not usually like this but Its just a bad day. P.S Im a 19 year old male.

Victor answers:
You don’t sound whiny at all. It was only your second day on the job, so you’re still very new and your nervousness is normal. You’ll become calmer and quicker as you gain more experience.
For now, if you make a mistake, just be honest and tell the customer that you’re new – 99% of them will understand. Pretty soon, you’ll have memorized all of those bulk foods and could ring them up with your eyes closed.
P.S. I run into cashiers at stores who need assistance from their coworkers or team leaders all the time. It’s nothing new and doesn’t annoy me.

Sandy asks…
I’m trying to lose weight the health way, vegan diet?
I’ve been a vegan for almost 2 years now but I haven’t exactly been healthy (I’ve been a compulsive over-eater since I was 5 years old) and i finally got it under control and went from 260 pounds to a lowest weight of 166, then i gained like 30 back during a school year because of the stress of all-AP classes.
anyways, i want to be a healthier person. I have this book called Becoming Vegan that has a detailed account of the nutrients that people need and how to fulfill those needs with healthy vegan foods (instead of french fries and soy mac ‘n cheese). This is the plan:
1,600 calories a day or less
50 grams of fat or less (i’ll be aiming for less, like 50 will be the absolute maximum)
88 g. of protein (calculated based on my weight)
5-6 small meals a day
high-fiber foods
drinking at least 64 oz. of water a day
getting at least 6-9 hours of sleep a night (i did that over the summer and i felt so much more energized!)
here’s the types of foods i’d be eating:
Grains: (6-11 servings)
whole wheat bread, bagels, muffins, cereals (kashi rocks)
brown rice (mmm)
grits (the type you just add water to and microwave instead of like a bunch of butter and grease, eww)
whole-wheat pasta
Vegetables: (3+ servings)
salad, corn, potatoes, etc.
Fruit: (2+ servings)
bananas, oranges, apples, watermelons, grapes, strawberries, etc.
Beans and Bean Alternatives: (2-3 servings)
beans, tofu, rice cakes, nuts (what are some good kinds that aren’t too fatty?)
Fortified Soymilk and Alternatives: (6-8 servings)
fortified Silk, broccoli, almonds
Other essentials (Omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin B12, Vitamin D): (1-2 servings)
flax oil, olive oil, enriched soy/rice dream
does this sound good? i’m trying to lose about 88 more pounds in a year or under in a healthy way. i exercise about 2 hours every day (working a different body part on different days. a good bulk of that time is cardiovascular exercise by the way) so is 1,600 calories enough or too much?
thanks ![]()
Nemo, there’s not NEARLY enough protein in that diet plan.

Victor answers:
I BELIEVED THAT NO TWO PEOPLE ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH
WERE ALIKE; NO TWO PEOPLE HAVE THE SAME FINGERPRINTS, LIP PRINTS, OR VOICE PRINTS. NO TWO BLADES OF GRASS OR SNOWFLAKES ARE ALIKE. BECAUSE I FELT THAT ALL PEOPLE WERE DIFFERENT FROM ONE ANOTHER, I DID NOT THINK IT WAS LOGICAL THAT THEY SHOULD EAT THE SAME FOODS. IT BECAME CLEAR TO ME THAT SINCE EACH PERSON WAS HOUSED IN A SPECIAL BODY WITH DIFFERENT STRENGTHS, WEAKNESSES AND NUTRITIONAL REQUIREMENTS, THE ONLY WAY TO MAINTAIN HEALTH OR CURE ILLNESS WAS TO ACCOMMODATE TO THAT PARTICULAR PATIENT’S SPECIFIC NEEDS.
James D’Adamo
The dynamics of weight loss are related to the changes your body makes when you follow your genetically tailored diet. There are two factors.
1) First, as your body makes the dramatic shift of eliminating foods that are poorly digested or toxic, the first thing it does is try flush out the toxins that are already there.
Those toxins are mainly deposited in the fat tissue, so the process of eliminating toxins also means eliminating fat.
2) The second factor is the effects that specific foods have on the bodily systems that control weight. Depending on your blood type, the lectin activity of certain foods may do the following:
__ Interfere with the digestive process.
__ Slow down the rate of food metabolism, so you don’t efficiently burn calories
for energy.
__ Compromise the production of insulin.
__ Upset the hormonal balance, causing water retention (oedema), thyroid
disorders and other problems.
Our blood contains aeons of genetic memory–bits and pieces of specific programming, passed on from our ancestors in codes we are still attempting to comprehend. One such code rests within our blood type. Perhaps it is the most important code we can decipher in our attempt to unravel the mysteries of blood and its vital role in
our existence.
__ When you use the individualized characteristics of your blood type as a guide for eating and living you will be healthier, you will easily reach your ideal weight and you will slow the process of ageing.
__ Your blood type is a more reliable measure of your identity than race, culture or geography. It is a genetic blueprint for who you are, a guide to how you can live most fully.
Type O.
The oldest and most basic blood type, the survivor at the top of the food chain, with a strong and ornery immune system willing to and capable of destroying anyone, friend or foe.
__ Type A.
The first immigrants, forced by the necessity of migration to adapt to a more agrarian diet and lifestyle–and a more cooperative personality to get along in crowded communities.
__ Type B.
The assimilator, adapting to new climates and the mingling of populations; representing nature’s quest for a more balanced force between the tensions of the mind and the demands of the immune system.
__ Type AB.
The delicate offspring of a rare merger between the tolerant Type A and the formerly barbaric but more balanced Type B.
-O is for Old.-
The appearance of our Cro-Magnon ancestors around 40,000 BC propelled the human species to the top of the food chain, making them the most dangerous predators on earth. They began to hunt in organized packs; in a short time, they were able to make weapons and use tools. These major advances gave them strength and superiority beyond their natural physical abilities
-A is for Agrarian.-
Type A blood initially appeared somewhere in Asia or the Middle East between 25,000 and 15,000 BC in response to new environmental conditions. It emerged at the peak of the Neolithic Period, or New Stone Age, which followed the Old Stone Age, or Paleolithic period, of the Cro-Magnon hunters. Agriculture and animal domestication
were the hallmarks of its culture.
Blood Type A had mutated from Type O in response to the myriad infections provoked by an increased populace and major dietary changes.
-B is for Balance.-
Blood Type B developed sometime between 10,000 and 15,000 BC, in the area of the Himalayan highlands–now part of Pakistan and India.
Pushed from the hot, lush savannahs of eastern Africa to the cold, unyielding highlands of the Himalayas, Blood Type B may have initially mutated in response to climactic changes. It first appeared in India or the Ural region of Asia among a mix of Caucasian and Mongolian tribes. This new blood type was soon characteristic of the great tribes of steppe dwellers, who by this time dominated the Eurasian plains.
-AB is for Modern.-
Type AB blood is rare. Emerging from the intermingling of Type A Caucasians with Type B Mongolians, it is found in less than 5 per cent of the population, and it is the newest of the blood types.

How Do I Use Free White Pages In My Online Business?

Lisa asks…
why does it say free white pages and then charge a fee for the information?

Victor answers:
These guys also offer services for mail marketers and telemarkers, such as providing mailing lists and address matching. They charge for those services, but not for a plain old phone number look-up.

Where can I get a cheap or free copy of the latest Verizon yellow and white pages?
I need the most recent copy of the Verizon Yellow Pages and White Pages for Northern Virginia. I believe these books are updated and issued once a year. Verizon sells them, but for $70 apiece. Where can I get a copy of these two books for free or for cheap?

Victor answers:
Www.Yellowpages.com is better than having the books and you can search by name, type of business and location. It also will give you website info if there is one.

How Do I Use Marketing Plan Software In My Online Business?

Donald asks…
Can you recommend/suggest marketing engineering software?
I need a marketing engineering software/tool for research. Is there anyone who can introduce one to me except the one named as “Marketing Engineering for Excel”. Just having a demo (free trial) of that is appropriate. Or even if you can introduce a book to me except these two:
1- Principles of Marketing Engineering by Gary L. Lilien, Arvind Rangaswamy, and Arnaud De Bruyn
2- Marketing Engineering: Computer-Assisted Marketing Analysis and Planning, Revised Second Edition by Gary L. Lilien and Arvind Rangaswamy
thank you
Dear answerer
one of you (my friend) have just recommended me this site
http://www.mktgeng.com/
But the two books and the software that I already mentioned in my details were from that site that I had visited before, I really need something more than that site.
thank you

I have a great idea for a business plan educational software but don’t know where to start.?
I am looking for investors or a business partner who has programming skills to help me design this fantastic idea I have for business educational software programme. It is unlike anything else out there
and would take the way business plans are done into a new era. Schools would use it for educational purposes. Banks I’m sure would base their decisions around it. Could even be set up as a niche social networking site..
I have no experience with programming or internet marketing hence why I am here asking for help.
It could be the next big idea. A bit of a bold statement I know but there’s something a bit special about this just need help to make it come to life

Victor answers:
Money and ideas talk so you need to raise capital to make your dream into reality. That means borrowing money from friends and family or having employees put up the money. You should put up part of the money since your the founder. Sounds like you have an idea that hasn’t come to fruition and at the starting phase.
Second you need employees that means using Craigslist or job boards to hire the best people. Look at Inc website for guidance. Look at Indinero’s CEO talk about starting her company with just an idea and finding a Venture Capital that guide her with classes at UC Berkeley. Good luck!

What skills do I need if I want to go into marketing?
I’m currently in my final year of electronics engineering. i have a placement in an IT company and i will be working there after my b.tech. I plan to do an MBA after working there for a couple of years.
Now, what I want to know is what skills do i need if i want to have a successful career in marketing. I have interest in the field but my problem is that i do not interact with people very often. Most of the time when I’m sitting with my colleagues i just listen to what they have to say but do not actively participate in the conversation. I have decent communications skills which I got to improve during the various presentations I had to give during my engineering. but will my lack of active communication be a problem in marketing. I believe the reason i don’t talk so often is because i don’t have a significant reason to talk. but in marketing i’ll be knowing what and whom to communicate about the products i want to market. plus i’m assuming that marketing is a lot more than just talking. it involves a lot of planning and market research too (that’s why it is different from sales).
Please help in explaining me what skills does a marketing manager require.
Also after my mba i plan to go for marketing in a software development company since i’ll be having a working experience in an it company. What will be the scope of a marketing manager in a software development company.

Victor answers:
The only best qualities you can develop in yourself are be confident, avoid hesitation, be focused on what you are going to do, devolop the quality of situational creavity. These qualities are enough for becoming a sucessfull marketing manager.

Robert asks…
I saw an infomercial that sold software which informs you when to buy/sell stock. What’s the name of it?
I currently have a money market account and a 401K plan, but I would personally like to make my money work of me. I would like to begin dealing in stocks but I have no background in finance or trading. To those of you who have already purchased the software/product, was it helpful? What is our experience? Is there a better device or service out there that can help me?
Thank you in advance for your help!
- Yolie-

Victor answers:
You can invest/manage your 401K, in a self-directed account. I have completed what you would like to do, however it has taken me three years of studying and taking courses. After research and finding actual people in my own community that are successful day traders, I have a strategy that requires about an hour and a half a day, and software that costs $59 per month. I’ve entered and left the market many times, of course at a cost of $7 per trade, but I’ve lost not one dime of my original amount, paid for my trades and learned a great deal. There is a user group in my area of people like myself, that have the software and are successful traders. There are many scammers out there trying to sell their product, so be careful. I use VectorVest software…it’s great and does the work for you. You can get it free for several weeks and their VVest University is great. Good luck….it’s been a great way to keep busy in retirement.
